Job Title:Machinist IJob Description:Machinist ITHE ROLE:Entegris is currently seeking Machinist I to join our team. This position will be based in our Decatur, TX facility.As a Machinist I you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials.HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY, 3:15PM-1:15AM.WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)
• Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment.
• Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators.
• Complete machining tasks within a customer job.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products.
• May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.WHAT WE SEEK:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods.
  • Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
  • Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
  • Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
