Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medicaid Support Specialist to assist
consumers and family caregivers with Medicaid and Waiver enrollment
and ongoing eligibility support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with state Medicaid agency professionals and
case managers to facilitate Medicaid and Waiver applications
Review applications to ensure eligibility for Careforth programs
and provide alternative resources for ineligible families
Collaborate with enrollment teams and caregivers to help families
obtain appropriate coverage and support ongoing eligibility
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health care or related discipline or
equivalent work experience
4-6 years of experience in health care with 2+ years of direct
experience with Medicaid and government programs
Proven success in developing collaborative relationships with
diverse groups
Tech-savvy with strong MS Office skills and ability to navigate
multiple systems
Outstanding customer service experience
