POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary functions are to Protect EMIC/KCM assets and personnel. Twenty-four-hour patrols of 1,500-acre estate consisting of Executive offices, Warehouses, Child Care Facilities, Airport, Television and Music Production Studios and Parsonage.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Protecting stipulated people and locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other forms of abusive or unauthorized treatment.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding job duties and information related to ministry processes, principals, family, residence, property, visitors, and staff.
Comport oneself in a manner that reflects well on Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Eagle Mountain International Church.
Completing and submitting incident reports after noteworthy developments.
Follow, accurately and in detail, all established department procedures.
Ensuring that security equipment and measures are suitable and that they always remain in excellent working condition.
Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behavior.
Builds, improves, and maintains effective relationships with KCM/EMIC stakeholders, staff, and visitors.
Reports Safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing via log entries
Manages security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
Meets and continues to meet any applicable state licensing and permit requirements for armed security officers and specific protective device and weapons qualifications.
Maintains awareness and familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform vehicle and/or foot patrol of KCM property including fixed post assignments.
Inspect and report the conditions of buildings, equipment, airport area and general wellbeing of KCM property.
Responds to security and fire alarms.
Performs building checks to ensure doors are secured, windows closed, and lights/equipment turned off or on as appropriate.
Provides security for special events.
Maintain security department vehicles and equipment to specified standards.
Perform radio dispatcher duties: Records and enters detailed, highly accurate information regarding phone calls, dispatches, messages and other communications and information into databases or software programs according to established procedures.
Administer basic first aid and CPR, as needed.
Assist other ministry departments as required.
Actively and successfully participate in security training programs.
Monitors intrusion and fire alarm systems.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

High school Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
1-4 years EMIC Security preferred.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Intermediate Defensive Tactics proficiency
Police Handgun and Long gun skills proficiency
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Certification
Dispatch skills proficiency
Patrol skills proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Word familiarity desired
Must work any assigned shift and some holidays.
Must work well in stressful situations.
Must be able to work well in a team environment with multiple personalities.
Must be able to qualify and maintain a license as a Commissioned Security Officer with the TCPS.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must hold a valid Drivers' License and be able to operate a motor vehicle.



EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

Telephones, Computers, Fax Machines, Copiers, Radios, Vehicles



TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand for a minimum of eight hours per day.
Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of eight hours per day.
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Must be able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move or carry equipment.
Must be able to pass physical assessment, which consists of the following:
Mile run in 10 minutes or less9 minutes or less if done on a treadmill
7 minutes/95 calories if done on the Aridyne bicycle.



30 pushups in a minute or less
30 sit ups in a minute or less
3 pull ups done consecutively.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Required to work holidays, extended hours, and any shift needed to support the Security Department; 24/7 availability required.

Must maintain a good attendance record.
