Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter to evaluate and
underwrite mortgage loan applications while ensuring compliance
with relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrites FHA/VA and Conventional loan applications to meet
credit quality standards
Analyzes mortgage loan files for compliance with company policies
and regulations
Communicates with team members regarding loan application status
and outstanding requirements
Required Qualifications
FHA DE Designation (CHUMS#) and VA SAR/LAP required
Minimum of 3 years of FHA/VA Underwriting experience
Experience with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter and Freddie Mac Loan
Prospector
Thorough knowledge of federal and state guidelines
Proficient in paperless loan underwriting and Microsoft Office
