developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish
business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring
that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and
compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and
ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the
overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested
interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development
and testing practices in the industry.Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story
per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance
requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data,
application, business) in design and development of client
requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development
(CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of
requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a
story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression,
performance), analyze test reports, identify any test
issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk

and creative problem solving. As part of this journey, we need a
dynamic, strategic, DataStage developers who will play an
instrumental role in defining and executing against a comprehensive
strategy. The role must be comfortable interacting and working with
both the technology and business teams. Responsibilities:
- Play a leadership role as a senior developer (and individual
contributor) to mentor the team
- Work independently on initiatives & responsibilities with
little oversight
- Translate business objectives into technology designs, calling
out risks and/or compromises based on constraints
- Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during
the project lifecycle, including production
- Develop & unit test Complex Programs/Component
- Manage technical tasks, to ensure work is delivered on-time and
on-budgetRequired Qualifications:
- 5+ Years Hand on IT software experience (Technical) in IBM
DataStage Development
- 10+ Years of total Industry experience
- Strong Parallel job and Sequence job developing skills with
proficient understanding of parallel framework.
- Proficient in shell scripting, SQL and integration of data
stage to various other platforms
- Experience with databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2
- Good understanding of version controlling and code deployment
of DataStage assetsDesired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in supporting financial systems and lines of
business
- Understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum
- Experience in Banking/ Finance Domain
