Job Description:
A company is looking for a Retail Call Center Sr. Government
Underwriter to underwrite residential loans and ensure compliance
with relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite Conventional, FHA, VA, and Special Program loans for
completeness and compliance
Review and evaluate borrower profiles, including income
documentation and credit reports
Communicate regularly with sales teams, processors, and management
regarding loan status
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; BA or BS preferred
Minimum 5 years of current frontline mortgage underwriting
experience
Active CHUMS ID required
DE, VA LAPP, and SARS designations required
Experience with appraisal review and tax return analysis
preferred
